The five multiplayer modes consist of Sneaking Missions, Capture Missions, Rescue, Death Matches, and Team Death Matches. Ps2
Hi everyone!
I'm a newbie in emulation and it's my first time with PCSX2. After playing the first two episodes of the saga, that have a PC version, i would like to continue with MGS3 in his Subsistence version [SLES-82044] [5E31EA42] using the ISO file. Searching around the Internet i find a lot of videos/guides that show a great emulation of the game but in his NTSC version using the widescreen hack; i tried to follow the instruction I find but I really don't know a starting point from which I would start my test to reach the maximum performance using this PC
My Configuration
- Windows 10
- Intel i5-6600K
- GTX 960 4GB
- 8 GB of RAM
- PCSX2 v1.5.0-dev-2292-g10ebe1665
I tried to switch from OpenGL/Direct3D and HW/SW mode but I really don't knows which option I should set in the hardware Renderer Setting. Just for info I used a the widescreen hack taken from the NTSC and added into my configuration just changing the pnach name file and I modified the FrameratePAL to 60.00 in PCSX2_vm.ini file to move from the original 50fps PAL (this one works, the widescreen hack seem to be loaded but i really can't know if it really works).
My issues are :
- Framerate at 60FPS except for some part of cutscenes, START menu (where you could set the camouflage) and sometimes in the codec where it drops to 30FPS or little more.
- Codec : you should see Snake blurred, I see him as in the game.
- Sound : sometimes seems that voice slows the framerate (but i can't state it for sure)
My goal is to run the game as smooth as possible at the best graphic possible, so I ask for your help
Thanks for the attention!
